SQRW stands for: Survey,Question, Read, Write.
Survey: Scan through the secion to grasp the content.
Question mean form questions in your mind as you servery the content.
Read: Read everything that follows each heading
Write: Write each questions and it's answers.

REDW = Read, Examine, Decide, Write.
Read: read and an entire paragraph or section for general idea of it's meaning.
Examine: examine the seciond in one sentence at a time to identify key words each sentence.
Decide: which words are trying to explain the idea or major concept.
Write: Write down the main idea for each paragraph or seciond and the most important supporting detail.

SQRW: Focuses the note taking on formulating question and answers.
REDW: Creating a list of main ideas and key words.
