A looooooooooooooong year ago stories;

❝I don't want to die.❞

Molla. I don't know when and why it was happened. The only thing i know, i just go home after watching movies. It was raining and I didn't feel safe at all. It was around 6:00 PM, due to the change of seasons, the days get shorter, so it was pretty dark. It was painfully cold, around minus 30 degrees. I heard footsteps behind me, I was already jogging, so I ended up jogging just a tad faster, but the stranger's footsteps still there. So i decided to look back, even it's a dumb way that i did. And, well, the bad things happened. That stranger pull me down to street.

What the hell is going to happen me? I was being carried to a lab with a hand full of scientists. They injected me with different colored fluids. They were cutting my stomach up to fulfill what needed to be done. They weren't just any scientists, I think. They kept injecting needles into my body, my heart rate slowed down, the injections was making reactions with my body which slowed the function.

I twitched unconsciously at the serums go into my body. I opened my eyes, and ended looked up at the mirror soround me. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?"

Yes. My eyes turned into a sapphire blue color.

I didn't know what was happening. I had powers, I think, but I didn't know what to do with them, or how to control them. I was afraid I'd hurt someone.

I looked around for anyone, a scientist walked in, he dropped his sheets as he saw I was loose, he opened his mouth, "Look, you have a new family, but they're not what you'd expect, okay?" his eyes were strangely red and his shoulders were very broad. He had an arrow mark on his wrist, it was small, not very big. His mouth opened, again, "I'm Griffin. I'm now your new caretaker, you'll be put in a new school and you will be hidden from your real families, you're all different now. Some of you are chosen to have super speed, but you must earn it, but I'll teach you about that later."

"What the hell I am now? I am Park Guri, by the way." I speak up while looked down. Scared? Of course.

"NO." Griffin said. "Your name is Orazio Draven from now. And call me dad or something similliar."

"But, what am I?"

"You're a vampire. Pure-blood vampire."

"MWOYA? I can't bite people or drink blood, it's disgusting!"

"IDIOT. Orazio, listen, we lived at human's village. We didn't drink blood anymore. We're modern-vampire. We did what normal-humans do."

".....so?"

"We lived by stares at human's eyes, and took an energy from it."

"...................."

"You'll be okay, Zio."

Hello It's Zio speaking again. Griffin was right. I call him papa.

I'm okay and already mingle well with my hidden power. Even it's a bit strange to see yourself had a sapphire blue eyes.

Yes, I am a vampire. But i didn't drink blood. I am a modern-vampire, like what Papa said. I took an energy; eating; drinks; and being stronger, by stares at human's eyes. It didn't took any responsibilities at those human i've stared, they will just getting feel very very very tired but will be fine again after taking some sleep.

I like my current life-style, anyway! I didn't have to eat and feeling hungry nor thirsty, because i stared so many people very often. Even i like berry very much, and used to eat that once a day.
