1) Go to start button on server--type 'Services'.If it is not opening then go to
Click on start button-->My computer-->on Top (address bar )type-->services.msc
In that screen select Apache Tomcat6 service and stop tomcat service. and Also Search for MYSQL service and stop it as well.
a)Stop Tomcat6 Service
b)Stop MySql Service
Note: After backup is completed, Start Both the services again and then RUN the Tool.
2) then copy WEBAPPS folder from following path:-
D:eClinicalWorkstomcat6 to folder D:eClinicalWorksbackup folder
3) copy DATA folder from following path:-
D:eClinicalWorksmysql to D:eClinicalWorksbackup folder
Note: Give the name for backupfolder as backup_date when you are taking backup and copy the above folders in that.
4) start services
a)Start MySql Service
b)Start Tomcat6 service.
5) Open autoupgrade tool
6)Then click on start upgrade.
7)After staring the Upgrade it will ask for consent about backup taken .Just Accept it
8)It will also ask provider eclinicalworks login to Proceed further Once Entered that it will start the Upgrade process
9)Need to Run the APU tool 2 times as there are 2 patches.
Note : Backup is Important , without backup Don’t Run the Tool.And If you have confusion , Kindly call us on 508-475-0450 and leave a Voice mail if you are running APU in weekend .You will Get a call back .
