Income And Everything Else
You have no money .You have points (yeeeey)
This is point-based game where points act like everything you need.
Each turn you get 2 + 0.2 * nr of provinces Points which can be invested in various things .It decreases after 30 provinces in arithmetical progression capped at 0.1* province after you reach 80 provinces .
((Example : first 30 provinces give 0.2 each 31th gives 0.196 ,32th gives 0,192 , etc. This doesn’t mean that a 100 province country won’t be stronger than a smaller one , but it will be hard for it to stand against 2 countries of 50 provicnes each. This is because big countries are harder to manage.))
Claim territory – 2 provinces at cost of 1 point.Can do as much as you can and its kinda recomended early game).
Administrative Index
Each point here increases point gain by 5% at the cost of 1 point.Greater levels may give special bonuses but not sure yet.
Tech 5 unlocks trade.
Trade: You can trade with dudes with trade carts . Max 3 trades.
10 carts give you 2%/5%/10% of the guy you trade with income based on distance. Same continent means 3% far distance means
Tech 10 unlocks Renaissance : You can invest more than 1 point in tech / turn using following :
it costs 4
*nr of levels you wanna advance -10% for each level you are behind in (in turn 10 going from 7 to adm 8 will give you 30% reduction aka it will cost 2.1 points)
example 2 : at turn 10 it costs 3 pts to advance tech 11 and 9 to advance tech 12
Tech 15 unlocks Colonialism.
Military index
Each point increases damage of your units by 5% at cost of 1 point.Greater levels give special bonuses.
Level 1 : Unlocks Infantry
Level 5 : Allows you train cavalry
Level 10 : allows artilery (Cost 5g/unit dmg)
Level 15:Allows Gunpowder ( +40% dmg all units)
Other levels -secret
You can’t invest in any index more than once per turn so spend your points wisely).A mechanic will be added for big countries to help them get up with tech at a higher cost.
Development Investment This is a new mechanic to help small countries that can’t expand (they want their country look normal or they just can’t) keep up with superpowers.
(Edited because everyone invested 1 point in development n stuff) .
Increases Point gain per turn in only one province by 0.3 at the cost of 1. Having more than 50 provinces increases cost by 0.01 for each province over the limit .
Examples :
If you have 80 provinces it costs you 1.3 points.
If you have 60 provinces it costs you 1.1 points .
If you have 30 provinces it costs you 1 points .
Military and units :
Armies :
100 infantry 3 Atk - 0.1 points
100 cavalry -8atk - 0.3 points .Gives 12 atk if fighting on flanks
Damage = (Atk - Def)*other bonuses like terrain strategy etc.
Battles
Battles : cav is always on flanks while infantry is the heart of army.Having cavalry on middle or inf on flanks decreases significantly their dmg.
Infantry can take max 30 dmg without dying while cavalry is extended to 100 Hp.
Terrain :
Mountains :width for 6k army and flank=2k
Hills : width for 8k army flank = 2k
Forest : width for 12 army Flank=4k
Swamp : Width for 12 army Flank = 4k
Plains : width for 18k , flank=6k
Flank represents the place where cavalry is put if it exists).
During spring/autumn , attacker suffers heavy loses in swamp due to rains . cavalry dmg decreased by 30% for defender but 60% for attacker . also attacker has 30% infantry dmg penalty.
In mountains defender gets 40% bonus and in hills 20% .
Forest special : ambush.defender cand organize ambush.chance of success is 33%.Ambush gives 100% bonus in first phase of battle.
UPDATE : The great army update.
Now you can do multiple military moves with only one army (For example sweden defends south then attacks north).The clay got will still not change (you will get max for your army).
You can take maximum 15 provinces in war from a player if you have 25k+ power (cav counts as 3k) .You can take more clay if u attack 2 different countries with 2 different armies.
Peace cannot be broken .Except if you are helping a defender in a war (while defender means the one to who is war declared to not defender in a battle).
You cant defend and then attack for clay.
You really shouldn’t declare wars during winter. Atrition is high and about 10% of your army will die of freezing.
Defender always gets a random bonus between 0 and 20% which cumulates with other bonuses and applies after infantry penalty and shiet.
Numerical superiority : more units:more dmg . except if you have over width limit
SCOREBOARD
In this player strength is measured by scoregained by following :
First 10 countries in development get from 1 to 0 (the 11th gets 0 ).Note that adm index applies to nr of provinces too so 20 provinces with adm index 2 count as 22 provinces and are more than 21 provinces
First 10 countries in army size get from 1 to 0 (same way as army size).Adm index also applies
In battles , both sides get a bonus score from 0 to 1.5 based on their strength and casualties inflicted . (If 50 provinces dude battles a 20 provinces dude 30k vs 15k and casualties are 5k-7k , attacker gets 0.2 and defender gets 0.35 since he’s lot smaller.
First 10 players in scoreboard get a small bonus after turn 5.
YOUR GOAL IS TO HAVE MOST POINTS NOT TO CONQUER WORLD.
