(askanews) - Nonostante il clima mite e piovoso dell' estate 2016 in Alto Adige, che ha tardato la vendemmia di almeno due settimane rispetto allo scorso anno, la raccolta delle uve nei vigneti della Cantina San Michele-Appiano si sta rivelando di ottima qualità. Grazie alle ultime settimane soleggiate di settembre, le uve bianche e rosse promettono la solita qualità inconfondibile. «Riusciremo con la vendemmia 2016 a garantire, come sempre, il massimo della qualità nella produzione dei nostri vini» spiega Hans Terzer, winemaker della Cantina San Michele-Appiano. «Ci attendiamo un' ottima qualità delle uve bianche che si rivelano con una maturazione perfetta e con belle acidità. Ci aspettiamo bianchi con profumi inebrianti e con buona mineralità. Per quanto riguarda i rossi, come Schiava e Pinot nero, c'è da sottolineare che il sole incessante di questo grande settembre fino ad oggi ha regalato alle uve la qualità che speravamo». Il segreto del successo della Cantina San Michele-Appiano sta anche nell' innovazione e nella ricerca di nuovi metodi di lavoro. In occasione del Merano Wine Festival (4-8 novembre 2016) San Michele-Appiano presenterà APPIUS 2012, il "vino da sogno" di Hans Terzer nato due anni fa con l' annata 2010 e poi 2011, prodotto con uve di qualità eccellente provenienti esclusivamente da vecchi vigneti con una resa minima.
