Untuk tingkatkan kesadaran pengelola pariwisata, menurutnya, Dinas Pariwisata bakal mengaplikasikan sertifikasi destinasi wisata yang menurut Aris sudah banyak diaplikasikan di negara lain. Sertifikasi itu diinginkan dapat tingkatkan service wisata dan memberi keyakinan wisatawan pada kwalitas pariwisata di DIY.
