HORUS
Horus adalah dewa pelindung nasional Mesir; Ia biasanya ditampilkan sebagai manusia berkepala rajawali mengenakan mahkota pschent, mahkota merah dan putih, melambangkan raja atas seluruh Mesir.
Horus adalah putra Isis dan Osiris, akan tetapi di lain tradisi, Hathor dianggap sebagai ibunya, bahkan terkadang isterinya. Dalam pantheon Mesir, Horus dipuja sebagai dewa langit, dewa perang, dan dewa pelindung. Berbagai bentuk perwujudan Horus tercatat dalam sejarah tetapi dianggap sebagai dewa-dewa berbeda oleh Egyptolog.
Berbagai bentuk yang berbeda ini mungkin merupakan berbagai persepsi yang sama namun berlapis-lapis yang menonjolkan ciri tertentu atau hubungan sinkretis satu sama lain, sesuai dengan cara pandang Mesir Kuno memandang bahwa terdapat banyak aspek dari realitas.
WEDJAT
Mata Horus adalah lambang perlindungan dan kekuataan kerajaan dari dewa-dewa pada masa Mesir kuno. Dewa yang dimaksud adalah Horus atau Ra.
SEKHMET
Sekhmet berkepala singa betina dan mengenakan mahkota cakram matahari serta uraeus. Dikatakan bahwa nafasnya menciptakan gurun pasir. Dia dipercaya sebagai pelindung firaun dan pemimpin pertempuran.
Sekhmet juga merupakan dewi matahari, kadang-kadang dianggap sebagai aspek dari dewi Hathor dan Bast. Dia memakai cakram matahari dan Uraeus yang dengan demikian menghubungkannya dengan Wadjet dan kerajaan.
