I chose my experiment because liquids evaporating happens all the time but no one puts thought to it, I want to know how things evaporate and why they evaporate and if density has a role.
II. Body A: Why do liquid evaporate?
Liquids like water evaporate when it gets heated molecules move around so fast that they turn into water vapor. The liquid level would decrease but the liquid is still somewhere.
III. Body B: What is density?
Density is a measurement of how much mass there is in a solid or liquid. You can find density by dividing mass by volume.
IV. Body C: Does temperature affect Liquid density?
Temperature does affect liquid density. When the temperature is high, molecules in liquids start to move around more and spread out, making the liquid less dense. When temperature is low, molecules move slowly and are more compact making them more dense.
V. Conclusion:
Liquids can move fast or slow because of their density or how much "stuff" is inside a liquid or solid.
