Membuat Scintillation Solution
Bahan= 1. Air sebanyak 7 fl.oz
2. garam sebanyak 0,2 fl.oz
3. Dua sengatan billwig
4. esens kunag-kunang
Peralatan= Mortar dan pestlena
cara membuat=
1. didihkan air dan aduk searah jarum jam
2. tumbuk sengatan billwig dan menghaluskannya dengan mortar dan pestlena
3. Masukan senatan billwig yg sudah halus kedalam air mendidih tadi dan mengaduknya berlawanan arah jarum jam sebanyak 12
kali dan aduk lagi 2 kali searah jarum jam( lalu ulangi lagi dari adukan 12 kali dan 2 kali tadi sebanyak 6 kali)
4. masukan 3 tetea esens kunang-kunang,(setiap 1 tetes harus diaduk 6 kali berlawanan jarum jam dan 2 kali searah jarum jam)
5. Biarkan masak selama 20 menit jangan diaduk lagi.
6. sesudah itu matikan api dan tunggu agar mendingin
7. Ciduk ramuannya kedalam toples atau botol transparan yg cukup besar.
Scintillation solution atau disebut juga Bottled Starlight adalah ramuan berwarna transparan yang bila
ditaruh dalam wadah kaca akan mengeluarkan cahaya terang. Ramuan ini bisa digunakan untuk menerangi kegelapan.
Bagaimanapun daya simpannya sangat singkat meskipun hasil ramuan ini sempurna, mereka hanya akan bertahan 10
hari hingga sebulan.
