Design a device that holds an egg and breaks its fall when dropped.
Research
We found that:
For a parachute, the longer the strings, the slower the descent rate.
The bigger the hole is in the parachute, the more stable it will be.
An umbrella could be used as a parachute.
Solutions
Design a parachute that slows the eggs descent rate.
Create something that holds the egg and breaks its fall.

A hybrid
We made a parachute that slows the descent rate a little and we tied it to a box filled with cotton that would break the eggs fall.
Construction
We took an umbrella and took all the metal pieces out of it, then we took eight pieces of string and tied each string to a corner of the umbrella and tied the strings to each other. Afterwards, we tied a box filled with cotton and an egg in the center of it to the parachute and put some cotton around it.
We tested it twice.
