Hello! My name is Ameerah, and I am doing the costume design for Legally Blonde by Heather Hach. I chose to do 3 costume designs for Elle Woods and 2 for Emmet Forest. The first is the dress that Elle Woods wear to her date with Warner, when she thought he was going to propose. For that purpose, I am going with a mid-length dark pink sleevless dress. the second costume is when Elle is trying g hard to be and look serious for Warned. And the inspiration for this costume is the First Lady from Scandal. She will be wearing a white plain button down shirt, with a black blouse, and a pencil skirt. The 3rd Elle Woods costume is when she accepts who she is, and goes pink again. This costume is going to be more formal and First Lady version of Sharpay from High School Musical's style. This one will be eye popping, with a less serious look. The 4th one costume is that of Emmet when we first see him. He will be in a very bland and informal style. I see him wearing an oversized button down shirt, with no tie, and a big dark blue coat. The last one, is after Elle gives him a makeover. This time he will be wearing a more form fitting button down shirt, with a striped blue tie, and grey vest, with a black dress pant.
