When applying for position, what to say in the resume and throughout the recruitment process?
- It depends a lot upon the position of course.
- If you are ideally the person they are looking for then it will be easier to get the position as they have a preconceived notion of who they want to employ
- On the other hand though, most of the time they probably won’t.
- If you happen to come across a position that you really like and you think that you make a good fit for the position, would it be a good idea to try to win the employer over by say. Trying to prove to them that you are the right person for the role?
- If you can draw a picture for them of how the day to day work position would be like they probably will be more inclined to hire you
- A really bad strategy to apply is to just apply for the position.
- No employer will want to hire someone purely because they think that they are applying for the position and will have favouritism for the position.
- I suppose and I’m inclined to think that it would be much wiser decision to demonstrate that you are the right person for the role since most of the time they would be thinking otherwise and have another person who would be preferred for the role.
