Notes

I gazed into his captivating blue eyes. His shoulders tensed, I could feel something was off. He gave me a quick, uncomfortable smile and glanced nervously around. I leaned in, closer and closer, until I could feel his racing heartbeat. I shut my eyes and stood on the tip of my toes to reach his face. I was anticipating a kiss.
But then, I felt a slight push on my shoulders. I awkwardly backed away from him and stared. He had a sympathetic face, and his hands kept tapping on his sides. "I'm sorry." he muttered, and looked sideways towards the ferris wheel.

I felt tears form into my eyes. I tried to hold them back. But I felt them dance along my cheeks. Then, it rained down harder. I put my hands to my mouth and tried to ignore his stupid, stupid, face.
"I hate you." I mumbled through my cries.
I felt something enclose around me. I knew it was him. "I know."
I expected warmth, but I all I felt was cold, bitter, heartbreak. I didn't want to move. All I wanted to do was cry, and cry, and cry, until I felt better. I just wanted to be happy again.
