Porlock adalah pelindung kuda yang ditemukan di Inggris, dan Irlandia Selatan. Ditutupi bulu-bulu kusut, makhluk ini memiliki rambut kasar yang amat tebal di kepalanya dan hidung yang luar biasa besar. Porlock berjalan dengan dua kaki yang berkuku dua. Lengan-lengannya kecil dan masing-masing memiliki empat jari-jari gemuk. Porlock dewasa bisa mencapai tinggi sekitar 60 sentimeter dan mereka makan rumput.
Porlock makhluk yang pemalu dan hidup untuk melindungi kuda-kuda. Mereka bisa ditemukan sedang berbaring melingkar di atas jerami di istal kuda atau bernaung di tengah-tengah kumpulan ternak yang mereka lindungi. Porlock tidak percaya pada manusia dan selalu bersembunyi setiap kali ada manusia mendekat.
