Personal statement
I am an ambitious and energetic young man with a mature and responsible approach to any tasks undertaken. I work well alone and also as part of a team, using a methodical and organised approach. I am self motivated and hard working with a friendly manner and enjoy meeting and engaging with new people. When working alongside my uncle as joiner I have proved that I have the necessary skills to adapt to my surroundings and I am able to listen to and follow instructions in order to complete the job to a high level whilst adhering all health & safety regulations.

My interests and hobbies
I genuinely enjoy spending time with my family and often look after my younger sister. Socialising with friends is important to me as well as keeping fit. I am currently spending a lot of my time looking for an apprenticeship.
Additional Information
I am keen to learn on the job, whilst building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time. It is my intention to develop as wide a range of construction skills as possible to ensure a solid career in the industry. I feel an apprenticeship would be a way of gaining qualifications but also I would enjoy the practical hands on side of learning whilst in employment
