Her biri bağımsız birer UPS gibi görev yapan modüllerin DSP ve veri yolları yedeklidir ve modüllerin her birine bağımsız akü grubu bağlanabilmektedir.
i-mus modüler UPS sistemi ihtiyaca göre 3Faz/3Faz, 3Faz/ 1Faz, 1Faz/3Faz ve 1Faz/1Faz olarak kullanılabilir. Sahip olduğu AC Backup teknolojisi sayesinde 3Faz/3Faz olarak çalışan sistemde fazlardan herhangi biri veya ikisi kesildiğinde çıkışta herhangi bir sorun yaşanmadan 3Faz çıkış alınabilmektedir.
İhtiyaç duyulması halinde çıkış fazlarına öncelik tanımlaması yapılabilmekte istenilen sırayla bu fazlar devreden çıkarılabilmektedir. Örneğin akü seviyesi kritik değere düştüğünde yaptığımız konfigürasyona bağlı olarak bizim için hayati önemde olan yüklerin bağlı olduğu faz faal halde kalırken diğer fazlar devre dışı bırakılabilmektedir.
Çıkış güç faktörü “1” olan i-mus, 20 KVA-KW’lık modüller içermekte; %96’ya ulaşan verimi ile enerji sarfiyatı minimuma inmektedir.
UPS sisteminden beslenen yüklerden herhangi biri kısa devre olduğunda UPS çıkışını kapatmaz; sadece ilgili faz devre dışı kalırken diğer fazlardan beslenen yükler sorunsuz bir şekilde çalışmaya devam eder.
