Beruang Madu
Beruang madu merupakan beruang dengan ukuran badan terkecil dari beruang madu yg lain. Nama sun bear diambil dari bentuk tanda di dada dan sekitar leher dari beruang ini yg menyerupai matahari terbit. beruang madu juga bisa disebut sun bear. clue kecil tadi karna sun bear beruang terkecil lalu matahari dari sun bear Sedangkan nama Beruang Madu yang akrab digunakan oleh orang Indonesia di ambil dari kebiasaan si Beruang yang gembira meminum madu, walaupun madu bukanlah satu-satunya makanan beruang ini.
Ciri-cirinya:
-mempunyai panjang tubuh sekitar 1-1,5 meter
-Memiliki bulu berwarna hitam dan tanda berwarna putih kekuningan didadanya berbentuk huruf 'V'
-kuku yg panjang dan tajam.
-Sun bear merupakan binatang omnivora,
-hidup di hutan dengan iklim tropis dan sub tropis,
-suka memanjat dan suka tinggal di atas pohon.
-Sun bear berkembang biak dengan cara melahirkan,biasanya mengandung selama 3,5 bulan dan menyusui selama kurang lebih 1,5 tahun
