- There is a difference between application state and component state.
- The application state is formed by reducers.
- All reducers get tied together by using `combineReducers` from the Redux package.
- For each key inside the combined reducer, we assign one reducer. which is responsible for creating a piece of the state.
- Reducers are in charge of changing the application state over time and they do this by the use of actions.
- Whenever an action is dispatched, it flows through the reducer returns a different piece of state, based on the type of action.
- Action creators are simple functions that return an action.
- An action is a plain javaScript object.
- Actions MUST always have a type property defined. They can have whatever a number of other properties defined.
Flow
1. We tie an ActionCreator to an element. Whenever a user interacts with the element, the ActionCreator is called.
2. An action is dispatched and send to all reducers and the reducers that are associated with the particular action.
3. The reducer returns a piece of state, which is assembled to the global application state.
4. The global application state is then injected to the different containers inside our application.
5. The containers rerender and cause the view to update.
