1. "We felt we may have needed more consistent temperature readings over a longer period of time. We felt a plastic tarp could limit the pile's access to oxygen."
2. "We could have a better size and number of thermometers for more efficiency. A longer pipe would be better for more coils, surface area, and flexibility. We didn't have a control experiment and should have had a bin that was not affected to see the natural gain and loss of heat in the water."
3. "larger scale, longer, flexible pipe that would get around the bucket easily- if not available, then get more pipe to get around bucket more. More robust setup"
