HUKUM
Hukum adalah sebuah peraturan yang bersifat memaksa, mengikat, dan universal. Setiap orang yang melanggarnya akan mendapat sanksi.
Selain merupakan sebuah peraturan, ilmu hukum juga mempelajari fenomena sosial. Jika ada fenomena sosial baru tentu akan dibuat hukum baru untuk mengaturnya. Contohnya akhir-akhir ini marak sekali berita hoax. Karena banyaknya berita hoax yang merugikan masyarakat, maka dibentuklah hukum yang mengaturnya. Sehingga ilmu hukum juga bisa disebut sebagai ilmu sosial.
Selanjutnya ada 6 metode untuk mempelajari hukum
1. Metode idealis adalah metode yang bertumpu bahwa hukum dapat menciptakan keadilan
2. Metode normatif analitis memandang hukum merupakan sistem yang tidak mudah dipahami dan untuk dapat mengetahuinya peraturan-peraturan hukum itu perlu diwujudkan
3. Metode sosiologis adalah metode yang bertumpu bahwa hukum mengatur masyarakat agar dapat tercipta perdamaian dan keadilan.
4. Metode historis mempelajari hukum dengan berdasar kepada sejarah hukum
5. Metode sistematis memandang hukum sebagai suatu sistem yang memiliki sub sistem
6. Metode komparatif mempelajari hukum dengan membandingkan hukum suatu negara dengan negara yang lain. Bertujuan untuk memperbaiki dan menguji kualitas hukum negara itu sendiri.
