I think that "Guys Write for Guys Read" is the best book I have read this semester. I think so because it has a lot of interesting stories in book, which kept me interested in the book as I was reading. Because of that, I hadn't gotten bored of the book at all when I was reading it. It was very well organized, and you could always tell when the story was concluding, and you could always tell when the next story was about to begin. The author did a good job making sure that the stories that the several authors gave to him to publish were interesting enough to make the cut for the book.

In general, the author had gotten several good ideas from a several famous, well renowned authours, so he knew that the word choice and fluency of their stories would be great. The book had an interesting word choice, giving the atmosphere that you were reading a story directly from the 50's, 60's,70's, and 80's. There was some interesting imagery in the book, alot of it being art created by some of the authours as children, compared to their art style currently. I liked the older setting of the mid 1900's, and that was one of the reasons why I was so interested in this book, because I find those eras very interesting and cool to learn about.

I think that others should pick up this book because if they have a similar interests as myself, and a similar sense of humour of the authors, they'd really enjoy reading this book. It's full of funny, interesting stories, some of them full of lessons for later on in life, giving advice about things on a minor to a major scale. This book can interest the average person to read it, and to later on pick up other books and read more in the future.
