Webmail van Online.nl Gebruik je webmail van Online.nl? Dan verandert er niets. Je logt in met je vaste Online.nl gebruikersnaam en wachtwoord via https://webmail.online.nl/, zoals je altijd al deed.
E-mailprogramma Gebruik je een e-mailprogramma zoals Outlook? Nadat je de Ziggo diensten hebt geïnstalleerd, kun je even geen e-mail versturen vanuit je Online.nl e-mailadres. Je moet de instellingen van de server voor uitgaande e-mail (SMTP) wijzigen naar smtp.ziggo.nl.
Voor de server van de uitgaande e-mail is verifi catie vereist, hiervoor gebruik je jouw nieuwe Ziggo e-mailadres en wachtwoord. Deze maak je zelf aan tijdens de installatie van de dienst.
Heb je een Ziggo e-mailadres en wachtwoord gemaakt, voer dan onderstaand stappenplan uit om jouw Online.nl e-mailadres te blijven gebruiken.
1. ‘Open’ of ‘Start’ het e-mailprogramma. 2. Ga naar ‘Instellingen’ of ‘Eigenschappen’ van het Online.nl account.
3. Kies vervolgens ‘Wijzigen’ en ga naar tabblad ‘Server voor uitgaande e-mail’. 4. Pas hier de naam van de server voor uitgaande e-mail (SMTP) aan, vervang ‘smtp.online.nl’ door ‘smtp.ziggo.nl’.

5. Vervolgens ‘Meer instellingen’ kiezen, dan ‘Server voor uitgaande e-mail’ en ‘Aanmelden met’ selecteren (in sommige e-mailprogramma’s is deze optie al in het vorige scherm zichtbaar). 6. Selecteer ‘Aanmelden met’ aan en vul jouw nieuwe Ziggo ‘Gebruikersnaam’ en ‘Wachtwoord’ in.
7. Vervolgens, ga naar tabblad ‘Geavanceerd’ en - Wijzig de instellingen voor inkomende e-mail naar poort 993 en zet een vinkje bij ‘Voor deze server is een versleutelde verbinding vereist (SSL)’ - Wijzig de instellingen voor uitgaande e-mail naar poort 587 en kies voor de versleutelde verbinding bij voorkeur ‘Automatisch’ of ‘STARTTLS’, ‘TLS’ of ‘SSL’.
8. Voor inkomende email: In de meeste gevallen zal het e-mailprogramma zelf testen of het werkt. Zo niet, stuur een testmail naar jezelf en kijk of die verstuurt (en binnenkomt).
Ziggo e-mail Je kunt er natuurlijk ook voor kiezen om Ziggo e-mail te gaan gebruiken. Hoe je dit installeert wordt stap voor stap uitgelegd bij de installatie van je Ziggo diensten en via https://www.ziggo.nl/klantenservice/internet/e-mail/imap/
