This group is an Auckland wide community of families who are interested or enquiring about birth at home, alongside other families who have experienced home as the philosophy and the place to birth their babies.
-- GUIDELINES --
The focus of this community is sharing, preparing and supporting each other on the journey to birthing at home.
Our philosophy is that home birth Is an empowering, women centred, safe way to gently welcome babies, where families are involved and connected. International evidence supports this philosophy and what we hold in our hearts.
Topics must be relevant to home birth and the 4th trimester. Comments considered off-topic may be removed at the admins' discretion (an admin will PM explaining) and/or commenters will be referred to relevant groups.
Topics that are sensitive in nature should be prepended with a content warning e.g. "Content warning: caesarean"
Conversations stay within the group and within the group only. At all times this group is to remain respectful and private. We all have different journeys, experiences and levels of knowledge. Kindness, compassion, inclusiveness and respect - we all support each other :)

If you have a service/regular event to offer that is relevant to pregnancy, homebirth, breastfeeding and parenting, please PM an admin to have your service/regular event added to the Resources File.
You may offer your service/regular event in a comment IF (and only if) it is relevant to the original post.
