VR136a1
VR136a1 adalah sebuah bintang besar di Tarantula Nebula sejauh 165 ribu tahun cahaya dari bumi. Pada tahun 2010 lalu, sekelompok astronom asal Inggris berhasil menemukan sebuah bintang besar ini. Bintang ini dikatakan sebagai salah satu yang paling besar di alam semesta, meskipun ukurannya cukup susah dikalkulasikan.
R136a1 nampak seperti piring berbanding bulir nasi. Tak cuma ukuran, energi yang dipancarkan juga sangat ekstrim. R136a1 lebih terang sekitar 10 juta kali dari Matahari dan menjadikannya sebagai yang paling terang di Tarantula Nebula.
R136a1 ini diperkirakan sangat panas. Di permukaannya saja diperkirakan suhu sudah mencapai 40 ribu celcius. Mungkin Bumi akan langsung hangus jika mengorbit bintang satu ini.
Alasan mengapa saya mereview materi ini adalah saya sangat tertarik bahkan dari namanya. Nama bintang ini sangat unik dan susah disebutkan. Kemudian dari ukurannya yang diperkirakan salah satu yang paling besar di alam semesta kita. Kemudian yang terakhir adalah dari terangnya, bahkan lebih terang dari matahari.
