" Jenis - Jenis Mantra "
Mantra terbagi menjadi tujuh jenis yaitu :
1. Charm
2. Transfiguration
3. Counter
4. Healing
5. Jinx
6. Hex
7. Curse

Pembahasan :
1. Charm
mantra dengan jenis ini menyebabkan objek untuk berperilaku TIDAK NORMAL. Tidak normal disini lebih ke menambah/mengurangi hal-hal pada target tanpa mengubah bentuk target.
2. Transfiguration
mantra untuk mengubah bentuk target dan menghilangkan ataupun memunculkan suatu target dari kehampaan. Mantra Transfiguration adalah manta yang rumit dan satu-satunya yang mengandung unsur sains.
3. Counter
mantra yang memiliki efek berlawanan. Mantra jenis counter dapat digunakan untuk menggagalkan, menghilangkan ataupun melindungi target dari efek sebuah mantra. Semua jenis mantra yang sifatnya ‘berlawanan’ dengan sebuah mantra yang lain maka dapat dimasukkan dalam jenis ini.
Ada Counter yang fungsinya tidak menghilangkan suatu efek mantra, tetapi ‘melindungi’ target dari efek atau disebut anti-jinx, anti-charms.
Counter sendiri memiliki beberapa jenis seperti counter-jinx, counter-curse, counter-charms.
4. Healing
Dari namanya saja sudah bisa ditebak bila mantra ini digunakan untuk menyembukan bagian tubuh makhluk hidup yang terluka.
5. Jinx
mantra yang termasuk dalam ‘Minor Dark Magic’, artinya mantra ini memiliki efek menjengkelkan atau mengganggu terhadap targetnya. Namun dalam skala yang kecil atau ringan. Kemudian yang juga termasuk Dark Magic tapi setingkat lebih kuat dari Jinx adalah HEX.
6. Hex
menimbulkan efek yang dapat merugikan targetnya dalam skala yg lebih besar dan ‘menyakitkan’, namun tidak separah jenis Curse.
7. Curse
jenis mantra yang menyebabkan efek yang berbahaya (merusak, menyakiti sampai yang terparah membunuh) bagi target yang di mantra. Sehingga mantra dengan jenis ini masuk dalam Dark Magic atau Mantra hitam karena efeknya berbahaya.
Sectusempra adalah satu dari banyak mantra yang termasuk jenis ini.
