Basically what I am trying to create is a text chat and video chat platform for soccer fans to talk to each other before games, during games, and after games. Moderators will post commentary, links to live streams, and highlight clips (just like they do on Reddit). The difference is this is live chat kind of like Facebook chat. To prevent overflow of ppl's chat comments, caps would be set for each chatroom to limit the number of ppl in it. Additionally, there would be a central hub upon which fans can pick which kind of chatroom they want to enter into (Transfers, Player Talk, Miscellaneous, etc). In addition, the goal is to create a video platform where fans can choose other fans to speak to each other in a Skype-style chat, or have live video in a Periscope-style format. The point of this is to be an app where soccer fans can interact in a easy, user-friendly platform. The biggest concern is to differentiate it from already-existing, successful platforms such as Twitter, Reddit, WhatsApp group chat, and Facebook. The far-out future goal is to create a social media platform integrated with chat that is PURELY for soccer.
