Hello my name is Jaylah Washington which I know all of you know who I am. Today I am going to be talking to you about being a leader. Being respectful and some of the choices we all make that we know are bad,but we do them anyway. First off I'm going to start by talking about being a leader . A leader is a person of any kind , shape, or size. A leader takes part in the solution not the problem. For Example if you are playing kickball and a little kick and get out. You should not scream at them. What you should do is boost their confidence up. To make them want to kick again. They look at us as a sis/bro to them. Secondly, I'm going to just say if you know your'e going to get in trouble you shouldn't do it. Choices and consequences. I've made some bad choices that i knew were wrong but did them anyway. As everyone says "Once you do the crime you do the time". But in our way we mean some of the bad choices you make come back on you and you have to suffer the consequence. Last of my speech is to teach you how to have your own voice and do your own thing. This is not pretainning to some of the little ones because they look to us leaders as there sis/bro. But us big kids have to have our own mind and speak for ourselfs. Now look back into he summer and tell me some of the bad choices you have made and how you could or could've fixed them.
