Veela
Veela adalah ras semi-manusia, yang mirip seperti para Siren dari mitologi Yunani. Mereka diketahui tampak muda, cantik. Penampilan mereka dapat secara ajaib menggoda untuk hampir semua laki-laki, sehingga membuat mereka melakukan apapun untuk lebih dekat kepada veela tersebut.
Veela memiliki jenis sihir mereka sendiri sehingga tidak memerlukan tongkat. Ketika Veela marah, mereka berubah menjadi sesuatu seperti Harpies. Makhluk bertubuh burung namun berkepala manusia dan mereka bisa meluncurkan bola api dari tangan mereka.
Menurut mitos, Veela akan mati jika rambutnya dicabut. Untuk pembuatan inti tongkat, diyakini bahwa rambut Veela yang digunakan adalah rambut yang telah jatuh.
Veela biasanya dapat menikahi manusia. Kecantikannya akan diwariskan sampai beberapa generasi. Tapi tidak dengan kekuatan mereka.
Keluarga yang masih darah keturunaan Veela adalah Delacour.
