A. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
-Finite : menghentikan 1 mantra yang yang sebelumnya digunakan.
-Finite Incantatem : menghentikan seluruh mantra yang ada di area tersebut, utamanya jika kalian tidak mengetahui mantra apa saja yang sedang berlangsung. Misalnya bila dihadapkan pada hujan badai dalam ruangan / latihan duel dengan spell tdk terkontrol maka langsung saja cast Finite Incantatem.
B. Dalam duel DSP
-Finite : one ally
-Finite Incantatem : All allies
Kedua Finite ini digunakan untuk menghentikamn status Ailments baik one maupun all allies. Bagi ailments yang mempengaruhi turn seperti Stupefy, Silencio dan Petrificus Totalus tidak bisa. Tapi kalau terkena ailments yang tidak mempengaruhi gerak atau turn, misalnya Incarcerous, itu bisa dipakai untuk diri sendiri. Atau misal sedang duttle dan terkena ailments Exhaustion atau Enervation Bisa digunakan untuk diri sendiri. Hal ini dikarenakan yang terkena pengaruh hanya status HP/MP atau atk dan def. Bisa dibilang ini spell yang sangat friendly karena kebanyakan hanya bisa digunakan kepada ally alias kawan.
