1) Woke up and spoke a little bit of gibberish and then laid in bed and meditated.
2) Played a game on the computer for 10 minutes. In the future I’m going to save games for the evening. It’s important for me to always work first and play after the work is complete. In the past, I’ve been playing too much, and procrastinating about work.
3) Ate some microwavable raviolis (portabella & goat cheese). I won’t be purchasing meals like this in the future, mainly because of the packaging, but I might as well finish off the food I already have.
4) Took a shower. Instead of using a bucket, I decided I’ll just turn the shower off when I’m washing, and turn it back on when I need to rinse (to save water).
5) I shaved using a disposable razor blade. I forgot to rinse the blade using a cup of water instead of running water every time the blade needs to be rinsed, but I’ll start using a cup of water from now on (to save water), and I’ll figure out a way to shave that’s more environmentally friendly. I’m not yet willing to grow out a beard, but that may change.
6) Took my roommate’s dog for a walk to the lake.
7) Did a short vipassana meditation when I got back.
8) Went on Facebook for about 10 minutes and got distracted by random ads and articles.
9) Drove my car to go grocery shopping. In the future I’ll take the bus. I got a bunch of healthy food, but need to be a little more conscious about what I’m buying. I tried to pick up oil for my car, but the place was closed.
10) Had a big deli sandwich for lunch.
11) Did the dishes.
12) Did another short vipassana meditation.
13) Web coding for a few hours.
14) Did a short workout (jumping jacks and some calisthenic exercises). As far as working out goes I’m going to start small and gradually extend my workouts.
15) Played a computer game for 10 minutes.
16) Searched for healthy recipes. It’s going to take at least a few days before I figure out the 28 meals I’ll be eating each week.
17) Read the Bible.
18) Had a healthy microwaveable dinner.
19) I finally gave in and decided I’m going to have one beer, smoke one bowl, and have one cigarette at 8PM tonight. I’ve had a productive day, and think I did well overall, but of all the things on my list, one of the most important things is that I stop smoking and drinking. This is going to be my last entry for today. For the rest of the night I plan on hanging out with my roommate a little bit, playing a computer game, and possibly going out to watch fireworks.

---Thoughts---
Today was a great day. Already I feel healthier and in a better mood. The meals I ate were healthy, but need to be more well balanced, and I need to eat more. There were a few things I didn’t get to on my list, but it’s just due to running out of time. I didn’t get around to cleaning my room or car, but I did a lot of dishes, so that’s a good start. Smoking and drinking is a no-no, but at least I'm keeping it to one each and waiting until 8PM . It’s up to you if you want to respond about the drinking and smoking. If I drink and smoke again tomorrow, then we should have a talk about it.
