A holográfia olyan képrögzítő eljárás, mellyel tökéletesen térhatású, háromdimenziós kép hozható létre. A holográfia feltalálása és a hologram megalkotása Gábor Dénes nevéhez fűződik, aki találmányáért 1971-ben fizikai Nobel-díjat kapott.
Golyóstoll
Bíró László József, aki eredetileg újságíróként dolgozott, az 1930-as években alkotta meg a világ első golyóstollát. Első szabadalmát töltőtoll néven 1938. április 25-én jelentette be Magyarországon, de a használható golyóstoll előállítására vonatkozó kísérleteket a második világháború miatti zsidóüldözések miatt külföldön folytatta. Argentínába költözött, és ott kapta meg a golyóstollra a szabadalmat 1943-ban.
Színes televízió
Az élethű színes kép megjelenése, a színes televízió megalkotása Goldmark Péter Károly mérnök-fizikus nevéhez fűződik. Az 1906-ban Budapesten született tudós már középiskolás korában lenyűgözte tanárait a fizika terén szerzett tudásával, később pedig nagy érdeklődést mutatott az akkor még gyerekcipőben járó televíziózás iránt. A világ első színes televízióját 1940. szeptember 4-én mutatta be.
