Notes - notes.io

Hey Jason. I hope you are well. I’d like to thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. I feel vulnerable by telling you all of this. This will give you a taste of how crazy I am. I ask that you be gentle with your initial response. If you feel like you are not up for the job that I’m asking for, then that is okay. I do feel like you are possibly the most appropriate person for this job, though, and am willing to pay up to $160 per hour for your help. If you can help me accomplish these goals, then I would forever be in debt to you.

I’ve broken this up into six different sections: Daily Routine, Things To Do Today, Things To Do This Week, Things To Do This Month, Long Term Goals, and Notes & Thoughts.

I took a bit of time to write all this up, so if you’re interested in this job, then I ask that you carefully read everything I’ve written.

I’m not looking for advice at this point, but you are welcome to offer it. The main thing I’m looking for is someone to make sure that I follow through with all of the following things I have listed:

---Daily Routine--- (I’d like to do all of the following things every day)
* eat a healthy well balanced meal 4 times a day at the same times every day (a meal that I would make myself). I’d like to come up with a list 28 different well balanced meals, and then eat those same 28 meals every week in the same order. Also, I want to focus on consuming more calories than I’m burning and maybe put on about 10 pounds of fat or so (not sure how much)
* exercise in some type of way
* go to sleep the same time every day (except for special occasions)
* spend at least 4 hours every day working to either make money, or do something productive
* don’t smoke cigarettes, don’t drink alcohol, and don’t smoke pot (or any other drugs)
* do certain types of meditation for 21 days, and then switch to another meditation for 21 days
* before every dinner, think of all the things I have to be thankful for :)
* read the following books every day: Tao Te Ching, The Bible (OT & NT), Beelzebub’s Tales To His Grandson, Alice In Wonderland
* keep my room clean. Always when I’m finished with something, I should clean up after myself. For me, cleaning is a spiritual practice, but I need to get in a good habit of cleaning on a regular basis.
* always pee outside
* wash myself with a bucket instead of taking a shower
* use re-usable grocery bags
* be conscious about all the things I buy and their affect on the environment
* only eat meat if I’m sure the animal was well treated and did not suffer (which means I’ll probably have to just be a vegetarian until I find such a place that offers this)
* If I need to go somewhere, ride a bike or take public transportation or carpool. Only drive my car if there isn’t another reasonable option.
* walk to the lake nearby
* write a summary to you of my daily activities and inform you if I’ve gone astray

---Things To Do Today---
* clean my room and car
* start making a list of 28 healthy meals
* decide what type of meditation(s) to start with, and do it for 21 days

---Things To Do This Week---
* sign up for free health care
* call my mom
* get a passport
* get my house ready to be rented out
* figure out how I’d like to volunteer to the community
* get oil the next time I go out somewhere

---Things To Do This Month---
* go to the dentist
* visit Ashland
* go to a yoga class and see if I like it
* go to a dance party
* give my roommate a massage
* receive a professional massage

---Long Term Goals---
* surround myself with people who are a positive influence (the few people I know in Klamath Falls are not a positive influence in any type of way)
* check out Ashland to figure out if I want to move there
* save up money for traveling
* save up money for rainy days
* visit San Marcos La Laguna in Guatemala
* donate money to causes I believe in
* find some way to volunteer to the community
* talk to my mom more, and have a more healthy relationship with her. Our relationship is “okay”, but I think both my mom and I have old wounds that it’s hard to get over. Talking to her more is the best solution for my mom and I to forget old wounds.
* find a new career (currently I’m a web coder). I’d like to find a career that has a positive affect on people and/or the planet, and it’s my belief that technology is unhealthy for the most part, so preferably I’d like to get away from the computer.
* go on a date and/or make some new female friends (I’ve been single for so many years that I don’t even know how many years it’s been).
* work on paying off all my debts
* go atleast 3 months without drinking or smoking anything. If after 3 months I decide to try edibles (THC), then I may eat edibles just for special occasions, like going out dancing. After 3 months, I may also end up drinking at most one glass of wine per day, but I’m not sure about that yet.
* make some type of significant inner spiritual progress

---Notes & Thoughts---
* the basic idea is that I need to form healthy daily habits, and break my old unhealthy habits
* I’d like to write a report or check list to you every day making sure that I stay on track. Eventually we could switch to me just writing to you once per week, but for the first week I’d like to write to you every day. I’m not expecting you to write anything back to me, I just want you to read what I send you.
* I have a severe problem with procrastination and self motivation, which is why I need someone to keep me in check. I know that I have the ability to accomplish anything I set my mind to, but right now I’m stagnating, and it’s been this way for a long, long time.
* I don’t know how much is a fair price to pay you, but after doing a google search, one place mentioned $160 per hour. That number seems a little bit high, since I’m not actually looking for advice (at least at the moment), but if that’s the going rate, then that’s how much I’m willing to pay, but we would need to limit it to a total of 1-2 hours per month with that rate.

Let me know what you think. :)

Thank you, brother. :)
