robin hood was walking across the log bridge and little john wanted to win a bounty by killing robin but instead they became friends They soon formed a band and were known as the Merry Men. Robin Hood was captain of the band of Merry Men. Next to him came Little John. He was called Little John because he was so tall, just as Midge the miller's son was called Much because he was so small next comes the archery contest and how he supposedly met his soon to be wife maid marine with the lovely maid mairen and show off his skill with archery. ... He wins the tournament but refuses to serve under the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham. and fianlly his death ... As he grew older and became ill, he went with Little John to Kirklees Priory near Huddersfield, to be treated by his aunt, the Prioress, but a certain Sir Roger de Doncaster persuaded her to murder her nephew and the Prioress slowly bled Robin to death. With the last of his strength he blew his horn and Little John came to his aid, but too late.

Death of Robin Hood CCLittle John placed Robin’s bow in his hand and carried him to a window from where Robin managed to loose one arrow. Robin asked Little John to bury him where the arrow landed, which he did
