This thing happened exactly 2 years ago, when the innocent me went to a ball for the first time. The venue was huge. Everybody were busy on chatting with each other, some of them had a glass of wine in their hand.
Me being me, hated the crowded place so much. If it wasn't for my best friend, i wouldn't have come there. Lifting my ankle-length red dress a bit, i walked through the crowd, just to approach my oh-so-busy-on-mixing-drinks best friend. He smiled at me and waved. Who said he wasn't handsome? He was really handsome that night, i bet you'd think the same.
Having my first sip of wine wasn't that bad. Okay, i was coughing a bit. But after that i enjoyed the bitter sensation.
Even if i thought myself as a Cinderella, nothing is as bitter as seeing your pince charming handing the glass slipper to another princess, right?
So i was sitting near the bar, watching my prince charming gave the glass slipper to another princess. They shared a smile

And i enjoyed the pain and bitter-sweet. Alone.
