>Mr.Saunders , editor of The Englishman placed his office and the paper at Gandhi's disposal and allowed him the liberty to make whatever changes he liked in the leading article ( relating to the condition of Indians in South Africa)

>as a result of prejudice 2 bills were introduced in the NATAL Legislative Assembly-1 to affect the Indian trader adversely 2. to impose a stringent restriction on Indian immigration. The bills became law.
>he had 2 sons born in South Africa.Gandhi read Tribhuvandas' book "Ma-ne shikhanan Advice to a Mother" to learn about safe labor.
