TUGAS CHARM: ESSAY PENYIHIR WINGARDIUM LEVIOSA
Wingardium Leviosa (baca : wingardiem leviousa), mantra untuk mengangkat benda. Berasal dari Bahasa Inggris wing (sayap), Latin arduus (tinggi) dan levis (ringan). Wingardium Leviosa termasuk mantra awal yang diajarkan kepada siswa-siswa tahun pertama di Hogwarts. “Wingardium Leviosa” diucapkan untuk menerbangkan benda setinggi kira-kira 5 kaki (1,5 meter) dari tanah.
Hermione adalah seorang murid yang terpilih di asrama Gryffindor di Sekolah Sihir Hogwarts dan merupakan sahabat terbaik Harry Potter dan Ron Weasley. Saat itu mereka berada di kelas untuk belajar bagaimana menggunakan mantra wingardium leviosa. Mantra wingardium leviosa, cukup susah menurut Harry dan Ron. Tapi tidak begitu susah menurut Hermione. Hermione mencoba menggunakan mantra wingardium leviosa saat itu juga. Dia menggulung lengan gaunnya, menyalakan tongkat sihirnya, mengarahkan tongkatnya ke arah bulu dan berkata, 'Wingardium Leviosa!'. Bulu mereka naik dari meja dan melayang sekitar empat kaki di atas kepala mereka. Dalam praktek awal, memang menggunakan bulu, agar lebih mudah dalam.mengangkatnya.
"Oh, well done!" Profesor Flitwick berseru sambil bertepuk tangan, untuk memberi selamat kepada Hermione, karena dia bisa mempraktekan mantranya dengan baik. "Semua orang lihat di sini, Miss Granger sudah melakukannya!" Tambah Prof Flitwick lagi.
