I am a BSNL broadband user for more than 9 years. My current broadband plan is 1199. BSNL revised the internet speed a few months back to 10 Mbps. But sadly, I am not even getting half the speed. I am getting a maximum speed of 3.3 Mbps. I registered complaints with customer care several times, but it was not solved.

A customer care person initially told that rural area BSNL exchange needs to upgrade to better systems to provide 10 Mbps speed. So, he promised that once they upgraded to better systems, within 1 month this speed issue will be solved. But even after 3 months, I am still facing this issue. Local BSNL Exchange person informed that they are helpless as the underground telephone cable cannot support 10 Mbps speed. Now, they are saying that only option is Fiber Optic. My house is 3-4 Kms away from the exchange. As of now, no fiber optic cable is going this way. Also, I am paying higher bills and getting only low-speed internet. I wish BSNL to provide high-speed internet in my area. So that we can experience next-generation high-speed internet here.
