I have really enjoyed the surf servers of Recess, and I wish to help out with the servers in any way there is. Whenever I have seen any rule breakers, I have informed admins about it, as I dont think its right to be a douchebag online just cause you are behind a screen and no one knows where you live.
I have been admin on GoG CSGO Surf Combat and 1v1 servers from mid 2014 to late 2015. Been server moderator from early 2016 to a couple of months ago. I have also been admin on Minecraft servers many years ago. I believe this have given me a lot of experience on dealing with different types of people and different type of rule breaking.
I am a 19 year old boy from Denmark. I currently live on Fyn and finishing last year of Gymnasium, after that I am planning to read for radiographic.
I have been playing games since I was 6 and ever since I have been passionate in the gaming world. I enjoy meeting new friends online and make friends.
I mainly play CS:GO, GW2 and Dota2. Every once in a while I play random games like Age of Empire 2, Binding of Isaac, and so on. I find myself nice and fun to be around with, I try my best to be friendly to everyone even when they are not.
I would start to spectate and record a demo of them. I will then look through the demo and try to spot anything fishy. I will never hand a punishment for cheating unless I am certain they are cheating as it is not acceptable to ban people falsely.
First I would start by telling them to stop spamming/flooding/crapping chat, if they decide to ignore me and keep going I will hand them a mute/gag/silence depending on how bad it is.
However there is a difference between flooding and chatting, like typing something twice is not spamming, but as soon you start doing it excessive over a short period of time it is flooding.
I believe advertising another community is not acceptable and will tell them not to do such again, and if it happens again I will ban them for whatever is fitting according to Recess Staff Guidelines, I personally believe a month or two ban is enough.
