1- Global warming means that there is a big rising in the world temperatures. The main reason for that are man actions in damaging and polluting the environment around them and making greenhouses which increase the rate of Carbon Dioxide in air. The smoke of factories and cars cause increasing also in bad gases as Carbon Dioxide.

2- There are dangerous impacts and effects of global warming. Global warming cause damaging to everything in the environment. It has a big impact on children health that smells dangerous gases as Carbon Dioxide. It also impacts in oceans and makes bad storms too. It contributes in increasing of Pests and flies and these flies are the main reasons of spreading diseases from one person to another one.

*There are little Americans that they believe in climate change in 2009, because there is a political discussion among Republicans to down the danger of climate change in America and this reason is the main reason which makes Americans thinks little in climate change in 2009. Amanda Feinberg also became disenchanted with the idea of human-caused global warming when former vice president Al Gore launched a public awareness campaign with his documentary. Lisa Woolcott also doesn't think that burning fossil fuels is causing all the global warming and she thinks that the wealth of America is more important than caring of thinking in the problem of global warming. All these opinions decrease the interest of Americans toward climate change in 2009.

* Americans believe that global warming is happening, and that carbon emissions should be scaled back. But fewer are sure that the changes will harm them personally. Most people think that climate change will harm Americans, but they don’t think it will happen to them. Americans want to restrict carbon emissions from coal power plants. The White House and Congress may do the opposite. A majority of adults supports limiting carbon dioxide emissions from existing coal-fired power plants.

Reactions to climate change and actions

1- because, The challenge is to use far less fossil fuel energy while increasing standards of living in developing countries and avoiding the sort of cuts in standards of living in developed countries that would produce public backlash and political impasse.

2- The first reason is that the US has been vocally against effective action on climate change due to its reliance upon fossil fuel for its economy. Being a producer of oil and coal, they feel more threatened by action on climate change. The second reason is that US resistance and the need to get them on board for any meaningful action, various trade-offs were made to the text of the Kyoto Protocol.

3- There are different concerns to the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, Russia and Norway. They formed part of a consensus known as the Umbrella Group that wanted things like the flexibility mechanisms to have no limits, unlimited use of carbon sinks, all technologies to be counted in Clean Development Mechanism projects. Particularly active during the Kyoto Protocol, the misleadingly named US-based Global Climate Coalition formed to actively oppose measures on climate change for fear of economic repercussions. As evidence of climate change mounted, major corporations had to pull out of the Climate Change Coalition, as it was bad PR for them to be associated with the coalition, and some accepted the evidence and began to invest in cleaner technologies. But much damage had already been done, and the influence on the Bush Administration, for example, has resulted in continued anti-international cooperation on this, as is discussed further below.

4- Today, US have been vocally against effective action on climate change due to its reliance upon fossil fuel for its economy. Being a producer of oil and coal, they feel more threatened by action on climate change. In the past, the coalition was effective at the time, but also extreme. As PR Watch continues, "Prior to its disbanding in early 2002, it collaborated extensively with a network that included industry trade associations,

"property rights" groups affiliated with the anti-environmental Wise Use movement, and fringe groups such as Sovereignty International, which believes that global warming is a plot to enslave the world under a United Nations-led "world government.

5- Economic studies explained that the cost of mitigation is several less than trying to adapt to climate change. This chart shows the total costs of climate change which will be in 2100 to be about $11 trillion and the damage will be about $8 trillion. With inaction, the damages will be in 2100 to be about $20 trillion. In 2200 these numbers will grow up and reach more than $30 trillion if we try to solve the problem, or over $70 if no action taken in solving the problem.

6- Because, When Bush came to power, he eventually withdrew from the international agreement. President Bush cited a number of concerns, along the following themes

1- Economic concerns.

2-That the Kyoto protocol was a political document.

3-That it is unfair that countries like China and India do not emission reduction targets. Extraordinary efforts by the White House to scupper Britain’s attempts to tackle global warming have been revealed in leaked US government documents obtained by The Observer.

7- Possible Geopolitical Angels means the business interests and of fossil fuels which make strong nations. The big costs to buy fossil fuels to use it and not any nation can endure this, so the people who dominate and bring fossil fuels have a lot of political power in the whole world. We can notice that U.S. and Soviet Union are two of the strongest countries in the whole world, because they are dominating on fossil fuels. They spend a lot of money to keep fossil fuels in their countries, because this helping them to continue in controlling the world. In an attempt to make the climate change program solving the world’s problems, it will not help it, but it may help in decreasing in depending in fossil fuels.
