When we look around of us, we can see that various advertisements not only on TVs and newspapers, but also on billboards, cars, and houses walls. There are also some specific channels that are responsible for only showing ads and commercials. Since they're all around us now days ignoring them might not be easy. Yet have consumers ever wondered whether advertising is helpful or harmful? Everything has it advantages and disadvantages in life, but advertising should be seen by its positive side. Advertising is helpful because it saves us money and time and because it helps raise awareness.

The first reason why advertising is helpful is because it saves consumers money and time while shopping, either online or in stores. Smart people would know how to shop carefully by saving as much money as they can. You usually find these certain type of people always trying to keep up with exclusive deals and offers whenever their favorite stores announce it. For example these days so many online applications are being released to make shopping for consumers a lot easier than shopping in real life shops. By signing in into these apps they will automatically start sending you a bunch of notifications or emails to remind you all about their new deals and offers, by that you're saving so much time because you're being notified instantly with the information you need so that you won't miss any deals. Before online apps become very popular stores in malls or so used to give us like a small form asking us to put our emails or phone numbers to contacts us for any upcoming offers. Also it clearly saves you money because these emails usually reminds you of any sales or offers that are limited. Saving money and time is not the only reason why advertising is helpful.

Another reason why advertising is helpful is because it raises different types of awareness by publishing ads. There are types of advertisements that look forward to share and teach valuable information to the society. The reason behind all these specific ads is because governments and organizations want to raise people's consciences about important issues and problems that are facing our world. Through ads, organizations talk about important causes to get people's attention in order to help others. For example, there are ads that persuade people to donate money to the poor, diagnosed people and homeless people. Also , advertising is used to inform people about the latest social issues in order to change their way of thinking, these announcements are very important because everyone from all different ages will get attached to them and watch them. So, ads are not just concerned with advertising for products or food commercials to make consumers buy them. Advertising is way important and valuable than we actually think.

In conclusion, as we can see there are so many different reasons on why advertising is helpful for both society and consumers. I feel like we gain so much knowledge and important messages from advertising. Advertising is becoming more valid in different fields in a beneficial way that makes people's life much easier.
