Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a Portable Storage Shed five (5) meters in length and width and four (4) meters in height to prevent wear from outside elements as well as to prevent civilian interest. Location SCP-XXXX-1 is to be surrounded by a 200-meter square perimeter of two side-by-side four (4) meter high chain-link fences with privacy slats and concertina barbed wire. Location SCP-XXXX-1 is to display an archaeological dig as a facade and be patrolled by two (2) separate security teams of no less than two (2) personnel. SCP-XXXX is to have at least four (4) working security cameras surveying the surrounding area. In case of accidental discovery of SCP-XXXX by civilians, Class-A amesiacs are to be administered.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a freestanding wooden door and frame painted with burgundy colored lead paint, estimated to have been built during the early 1890's. SCP-XXXX measures 83.75 centimeters in length, 182.8 centimeters in height, and 4.5 centimeters in width. SCP-XXXX is able to stand upright despite a lack of struts or supports, and is incapable of being moved (see Test Log SCP-XXXX-2). It is currently unknown as to how or why SCP-XXXX is incapable of being moved. What appears to be a shadowy void is seen when the door is opened, although no portal is seen when viewed from the back, either open or closed. Upon passing through the door and fully entering the void, both items and personnel are transported to an area approximately 240 meters away, referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. Items and personnel appear at location SCP-XXXX-1 almost instantaneously and slowly fade into existence. If an item is placed in the area where an item or person is coalescing, said item will become fully merged with both people and items down to an atomic level. Both SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 are located at an undisclosed location in Joshua Tree National Park.

Results: D-XXXX-1 appears at location SCP-XXXX-1, previously undiscovered. D-XXXX-1 is terminated at 7:07 PM approximately 450 meters away from location SCP-XXXX-1 after attempted desertion. Further experiments postponed until June 16 in the essence of safety.

Test: Have D-XXXX-3-1 and D-XXXX-3-2 step through SCP-XXXX simultaneously.
Results: D-XXXX-3-1 and D-XXXX-3-2 appear at location SCP-XXXX-1 simultaneously at 8:40 AM.

Test: Dr. Chauvic throws one (1) Red Delicious apple through SCP-XXXX.
Results: One (1) Red Delicious apple appears at location SCP-XXXX-1 at 8:47 AM.

Test: Have D-XXXX-5-1 and D-XXXX-5-2 step through SCP-XXXX with D-XXXX-5-2 stepping through immediately after D-XXXX-5-1.
Test Results: D-XXXX-5-1 appears at location SCP-XXXX-1 at 9:00 AM followed immediately by D-XXXX-5-2. D-XXXX-5-1 and D-XXXX-5-2 both coalesce in the approximate same spot, and become merged with each other. D-XXXX-5-1 and D-XXXX-5-2 (now referred to as D-XXXX-5-3) expire at 9:03 AM, cause of death: acute multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (blanket term)

Test: Have D-XXXX-6 step through SCP-XXXX-1. When D-XXXX-6 begins to appear, have one (1) standard issue canvas duffel bag (empty) placed where D-XXXX-6's feet and lower legs should appear.
Results: D-XXXX-6 appears at location SCP-XXXX-1 at 11:35 AM. One (1) standard issue canvas duffel bag (empty) is placed where D-XXXX-6's feet and lower legs should appear. When D-XXXX-6 finishes appearing, his legs are dismembered halfway down both tibias and fibulas. D-XXXX-6 terminated at 1:12 PM with 350 mg of morphine.

Following is the second testing log of SCP-XXXX.

Test Log SCP-XXXX-2

Subject(s): D-XXXX-7-1, D-XXXX-7-2, D-XXXX-7-3, D-XXXX-7-4, D-XXXX-7-5, five (5) standard issue collapsible trenching shovels
Time: June 21st, 20██, 10:05 AM
Test: Have D-XXXX-7-1 through D-XXXX-7-5 use five (5) standard issue collapsible trenching shovels to excavate a hole approximately three point five (3.5) meters in diameter and approximately one (1) meter in depth around SCP-XXXX, then proceed to remove remaining earth beneath SCP-XXXX.
Results: From 10:05 AM to 11:34 AM D-XXXX-7-1 through D-XXXX-7-5 excavate a hole around SCP-XXXX approximately three point five (3.5) meters in diameter and approximately one (1) meter in depth. Upon completion of task, D-XXXX-7-1 through D-XXXX-7-5 excavate remaining earth beneath SCP-XXXX, taking approximately 15 minutes. SCP-XXXX does not appear to move upon removal of earth.
Notes: Upon conclusion of test number one, D-XXXX-7-1 through D-XXXX-7-5 were instructed to fill in said hole around SCP-XXXX

Test Number: 2
Subject(s): D-XXXX-8, one (1) Bobcat® skid steer loader
Time: June 21st, 20██, 12:11 PM
Test: Have D-XXXX-8 enter provided Bobcat® skid steer loader and attempt to knock down SCP-XXXX using said skid steer loader.
Results: At 12:11 PM D-XXXX-8 uses one (1) skid steer loader to attempt to move SCP-XXXX. D-XXXX-8 continues to use one (1) skid steer loader to attempt to move SCP-XXXX for another seventeen (17) minutes. At no point does SCP-XXXX appear to move.

Test Number: 3
Subject(s): D-XXXX-9-1, D-XXXX-9-2, two (2) standard issue stainless steel tomahawk axes

Test: Have D-XXXX-9-1 and D-XXXX-9-2 both attempt to remove one or more small splinters of wood from SCP-XXXX, approximately one fourth (1/4) of a meter in length, using two (2) standard issue stainless steel tomahawk axes. In the event that splinters are removed from SCP-XXXX, they are to be transported to Site-██ for testing.
Result(s): From 2:24 PM to 2:35 D-XXXX-9-1 and D-XXXX-9-2 use two (2) standard issue stainless steel tomahawk axes to attempt to remove one or more small splinters of wood approximately one fourth (1/4) of a meter in length from SCP-XXXX. At no point were any fragments of wood observed to have separated from SCP-XXXX.
