there are 6 type of estimation method.
ADCEP
1.analogy method: the cost is estimated by the completed past project
2.COCOMO
3.Delphi
4. Expert Judgment: software expert will be estimating the cost
5. Price to win: the estimate will based on the customer budget.
6. Parkinson effect: work expand to fill the time available for it completion.
Delphi:
Step 1: Define the task as clearly as possible, have firm requirement for function and quality
Step 2: Produce the candidate design in enough detail that each individual design element is comprehensible.
Step 3: each estimator produce a size of each design element and submit to moderator.

Analogy method: the cost will be estimated by the analogy of the completed past project
Expert Judgment: software expert will be estimating the cost
Price to win: the estimate will based on the customers budget
Parkinson: Work expand to fill the time available for its completion. The cost is estimated by the available resources instead of its main objective


There are 3 types of feasibility:
Operation: Whether the human resources are available to operate the system whenever it had been installed.
Technical: Whether the current technical resources are sufficient for new system, it not, are they can be upgrade to the level to build the system.
Economic: Whether the money and time are available to develop the new system, included hardware, software and new equipment.
what is critical path in Pert chart?
The longest route from start to finish in the Pert Chart. It shows the minimum time for the project completion. And given the greater attention as they can delay.
Critical and Non critical path:
critical path: An activities is if a delay in its will cause the delay in a completion of the project
non critical path : The time between its earliest start and its latest completion is no longer than it actual time. Non critical path is said to have a slack and float time.
Critical path: An activities is if it delay then will cause the delay of the project completion. the longest route from start to finish in the pert chart. it shows the minimum time for the project completion and given the greater attention as they can delay.
