In my neighbourhood, there are many diverse terrains around. There are creeks, forests, and local areas everywhere, and I am very lucky to live in such a beautiful and distinct place! On my walk, I not only walked around the houses in my neighbourhood, but also the forests and creeks everywhere. During the winter/spring, these creeks are beautiful and living here in Canada means that it is usually cold, creating wonderful structures using ice and the elements around. By looking around more deeply, I took many pictures and I hope they paint a clear image of what most neighbourhoods in Oakville look like. I couldn't take just 2 photos, as there is so much to share about where I live!
This picture was taken in a nearby creek. As you can see, the cold weather up here in the North creates beautiful ice patterns and formations in our ponds and rivers. The ice has even grown around the rocks, which makes for a very nice picture. I find this very interesting because of the patterns and shapes the frozen ice creates.
This is just one of the many creeks there are in Oakville. There is a small stream of water flowing through the riverbank, with trees surronding it. In the summer, the trees are green and in the fall, the trees are red, orange and yellow. This location is a great place for me and my friends to hang out because we can play in the forest. These places are common in Canada and they make for a great location for trails and walking paths.
This is my neighbourhood. Plain, but it's still my neighbourhood. It's amazing how there can be an abundance of houses and creeks that are so close. To the left, there's a nearby catholic school and to the right there is a row of houses that stretches down the long road. By the way, there's another public school down this road for people who aren't catholic.
This is one of the many Canadian neighbourhoods, and I hope you had an interesting experience within my neighbourhood.🍁 I hope to learn from and see all the other neighbourhoods from you guys!
