musst du zunächst ins Wiederherstellungsmenü (recovery menu)
das sollte beim Ace gehen, indem du bei ausgeschaltetem Handy den Home-button (vorne unter dem Bildschirm)
und den Power-button (an der rechten seite des Handys) gedrückt hälst bis das Samsung Logo erscheint. Dann den Home-button gedrückt halten, aber den Power-button loslassen.
Dadurch sollte man ins Recovery Menü gelangen (im Menü kann man den button natürlich loslassen)

Im Recovery-menu ist der Touch des Bildschirms augeschaltet, deshalb beschränkt sich die Navigation auf die Lautstärke-Tasten (Hoch und Runter) und den Home-Button (Auswählen) (Manchmal auch Power-Button)
Nun 'wipe data/factory reset' auswählen und mit dem Home-button bestätigen. Das Handy fängt an zu arbeiten.
Anschließend mit 'reboot system now' das Telefon neu starten, falls dies nicht schon automatisch geschieht.
