Explain these breaching types with the trainees:
Dynamic Entry: Breaching term for a fast entry where time is the most important asset. The priority in this breach is speed and time, and as such, clearing must be done in a matter of seconds. Accompanied by flashbangs in every room.
Deliberate Entry: Breaching Term for a slow entry where checking all corners is done in matters of minutes, always preparing for the next room breach and taking into account multiple factors. Safety of the squadron is the primary priority in this type of breaching. Less reckless than a dynamic entry but also gives the enemy more time to adapt and in some cases can actually be riskier.
Covert Entry: Breaching Term for a stealth approach to breaching. Focused mostly on the element of surprise and as such you must be crouching while entering the building as to reduce noise. Silencers are required for this type of entry.
Beachhead Breaching: Breaching term for a new kind of breaching where the priority is to set a strong foothold in the enemy building. Breaching is done in a 2 stage operation, where the initial breach is limited to the room connected to the main doorway and securing the adjacent room. After the “beachhead” has been secured, the team can then transition to multiple ways of dealing with the rest of the building, such as demanding a surrender of the rest of the defenders (who are deterred by the fact that you control the entrance), using explosives to severely damage and even neutralize the defenders, increase the foothold in the building further by using deliberate entries, or using the main entrance as a ruse to breach from another entrance.

The STT will normally use the beachhead entry as it is proven to be the most effective, but all members must be adept in all these breaching techniques as the situation at hand will always be different.
Room Entry
Explain the following information to the trainees.
“Make sure your playermodel and weapon does not clip through the wall next to you. When throwing grenades, make sure you are off the wall and in “ready” position before taking out the grenade as this will let the enemy know where you are.”
“The fatal funnel is your entry point, where all of the hostiles will be aiming and expecting you to be. Do not aim down sights, alt walk, or sprint while entering the doorway. Simply hip fire. Under no circumstances will you ever stop under the fatal funnel, as it is the most exposed point in all the building”
“When entering a room with a standard breach, the directions each man should be clearing should be in the order of: 1. Right 2. Left 3. Right 4. Left etc.” (Depending on the situation this can be reversed)
ALWAYS TRUST YOUR TEAMMATE TO DO HIS JOB. EVEN IF YOU SPOT A THREAT ON HIS SECTOR YOUR JOB IS CLEAR.
“First, quickly scan the room and eliminate immediate hostiles, then begin a more thorough examination if necessary”
“Make sure to cover each other while advancing” (down long stretches of space, when there are more doorways in the room, etc)
“These are the basic components of breaching that can be reformatted and rearranged to fit the situation”
