A young man ponders his current situation; a young woman is sleeping practically on top of him, head nestled on his chest and arm draped over his torso. He looks down only to be greeted with violet colored hair and, as if it were natural, he found himself gently petting her head as she lay in a seemingly peaceful slumber. He felt a small smile take shape as he felt her swift breathing just slightly out of sync with his own; taking a moment to enjoy the warmth of another person before continuing on his train of thought, seemingly distracted by the same scenario he was curious about. Shuuhei considered himself respectful, and while he might not be a perfect gentleman, he never thought he'd find himself agreeing to spend the night with a woman after only the first date. Granted, the pair were not strangers to one another, and it wasn't like anything had happened or anything, however despite it still felt just the smallest bit awkward.
He recalled the moment leading up to now; they were standing outside the entrance to her personal barracks
It was the way she looked when she asked him to stay, the tone in which the words were spoken that made him feel compelled to agree to the request.
