Notes - notes.io

Aii. IDENTIFY AND PRIORITISE THE RESEARCH (Identify three research questions or areas)

+State what you need to know to develop the product.
How do you design a hospital?
What people think about when they design a hospital?
What are the general problems with hospitals?
What location should it be in?
How can it be most accessible to the largest audience?

+Specifically name the sources you will use.

https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/hospital-management-administration/5-common-hospital-problems-and-suggestions-for-how-to-fix-them.html

+Decide the priority for each research question.
1. How do you design a hospital?
2. What are the general problems with hospitals?
3. What location should it be in? / How can it be most accessible to the largest audience?

+Detail why you have chosen these sources.
because they include details about every single one of my research questions
Aiii: ANALYSE 3 EXSITING PRRODUCTS

+ Present 3+ products.
Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht
Wilhelmina KinderZiekenhuis (WKZ)
Diakonessenhuis

+ Explain what key features make each product successful and why.
They are all key locations and have a good design but even the “Wilhelmina KinderZiekenhuis (WKZ)” which is made for kids is perceived scary although it is made for kids to come over differently.

+ Explain what ideas this gives you for your own product.
Many people have tried making hospitals more friendly but simply because of hollywood and all of the movies they have a scary feeling when they go into a hospital. This gives me the idea of not even relating it with a hospital instead just mention it as a safe environment where you can get help because the name “hospital” has gotten a bad reputation over the years.
Aiv. DEVELOP A DESIGN BRIEF
Write a conclusion of your completed research by answering the following questions.

+ What type of product is going to be designed? (Based upon the identification of the problem)

+ What is the purpose of this type of product? (Based upon your proof of the problem)

+ Who is this type of product aimed at and how will it help them? (Based upon your research of existing products)
