Disebutkan, para penyihir yang sedang bermain bola di udara itu melempar bola tersebut dan masuk kedalam tong sampah Keddle. Walau dimarahi, mereka tidak kapok. Selanjutnya, mereka memasukkan bola tersebut ke sela ranting pohon untuk mendapat poin. Inilah yang disebut-sebut asal mula Quaffle.
