bio: Gabriella Brookes was born on the 25th March 2002. She lived with her mother, father and older brother Christian. They were your ordinary, loving and supportive family - her mom attended every school event and was the head of the P.T.A, her father worked a steady office job by day yet returned to be her hero and read to her every night, her older brother christian let her play his playstation and joined in with her tea parties. Overall it was just a bubble of happiness waiting to be popped. Gabi was 9 years old, she was visiting her godmother, Sally, while her parents attended Christian's school art show. It got dark outside and she knew something was wrong, they were supposed to be back by 6.. The next thing she knew, Sally was on the phone and then she was crying.

As it would turn out, it was a matter of being at the wrong place at the wrong time - gabi's family stopped by the gas station to grab some slushies to bring back home, mainly because they knew it was her favourite pick-me-up and she'd been so sad to be left behind. A robbery gone wrong and a family caught up in the brutal scene ended a little girl's fantasy life and left the shattered remains behind.

She was adopted by Sally shortly after and moved in with her and graham (her husband). Over the next year, Gabi found it hard to get her head around things.. she just didn't feel like safe anymore and began to suffer badly from anxiety and depression.

When she was 10, a boy moved in. He was called Greyson and Sally told her she had to make him feel welcome. He was nice, he let her do his makeup and hugged her when she got scared. He reminded her of Christian. Over the years they grew very close and greyson helped her to tackle some of the issues she had after her families untimely demise.. he also helped her work through personal struggles with her identity and supported her through her realisation that she's Bi. After Greyson was officially adopted they were ecstatic to finally be recognised as each others sibling. (etc, etc, etc.. please forgive this awful bio - it's 2am )

personality:
Gabi is whole-heatedly a geek... Although she's book-smart, gabi is hopeless when it comes to basic social skills, especially when meeting new people.. Once she gets to know you, she is a bubbly, overly energetic disaster of a girl that only intends to spread her optimistic views on the world. She is still an anxious mess most of the time but doesnt like to burden others with her problems.. so she compensates by nervously rambling on and on and on.... She appreciates the smallest of gestures and strongly believes in 'destiny' and 'signs'..

secret(s): she has a crush on her math teacher, Miss Paige (dont worry - im not gonna make it a creepy-student/teacher thing) - its just the kind of secret thats sorta lowkey but embarrassing if it go out..
