What do we need to manufacture items in fabrics, to light our streets, to heat our home and to cook our foods? It is energy. The main question is that we need to ask ourselves: “How can we generate it?” There are several ways to produce energy and nuclear energy is one of them. Nuclear energy is the cheapest and the most efficient among those ways. Countries should provide their energy that they need from nuclear power plants.

It is argued that energy can be produced by alternative sources. Scientists say that new technologies can lead us to make renewable energy more efficient.However, countries can obtain more energy from nuclear power plant. According to research that was carried out in 2015, the global average of nuclear energy is 92%, but this report also show that wind efficiency is only 26%, and PV solar cell’s efficiency is only 12%. Only little amount of uranium can generate huge amount of electrical energy and no other energy source cannot produce that level of energy even coal and oil.

Another argument against the use of nuclear energy is that it pollutes environment. Radiation harms every living organism. They assume that during producing nuclear energy, many harmful substances can be spread to the surrounding area. On the other hand, although dangerous gases are released the spread of those gases can be prevented by the construction of appropriate power plants. Also, when the waste is stored properly, it won’t damage the environment. In the process of the building power plant, if the radiation-proof materials are used, all effects can be distracted. Beside these, the presumption of leak is very low, because scientists have been developing the sufficient technology.

To sum up, countries can use many ways when they generate energy, but they should choose the cheapest and the most efficient way. Nuclear power plants enable countries to produce adequate energy, also opposite of common view it is less harmful to the environment compared with the other ways. At least, countries should take to use this way into the consideration.
